Thomas Barnes, M.D. graduated from the University of Southern California with honors and attended and graduated with the highest honors from the USC School of Medicine. He completed his first residency training at UCLA Medical Center and then trained in Emergency Trauma Medicine. He later completed fellowship training in Cosmetic Surgery after which he began his practice at the Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center in Newport Beach, California. He as been in practice in Newport Beach for 15 years and lives in Newport Coast with his wife, Lindsay, and daughter Emma. His hobbies include rollerblading, working out, reading history and writing novels. His first novel is represented by well-known literary agents in Los Angeles and New York City for publishing and “Dr. Thom” hopes it will one day become a national television series. He is also in development of his TV show, “Red Carpet Surgeon” and unique celebrity skin care line.
